Dublin in Photos - one

This post is long overdue.  Our trip to Dublin was a last minute decision, just after the Christmas holidays, that we blame on Ryanair. They were offering flights that were too good to pass up.

We arrived on a cold, Friday afternoon and took the bus from the airport straight to the Anchor House Bed & Breakfast.  This family-run, comfortable and budget friendly guesthouse is in the most incredible location, nestled right in the middle of the city.

Having unpacked our suitcases, we bundled ourselves up and headed out for a little tour of the surrounding streets.

For dinner we booked into The Church.  As its name suggests, it was once a church, now converted to a restaurant.  The food was awesome and we had our first Guinness in Dublin.  The atmosphere was quiet and cosy - it felt like we were in church heaven.

Afterwards we walked-off our meal along the river Liffey which flows through the centre of Dublin.

The perfect first day in Dublin with my favourite man.
