Next stop was at St. Patrick's Cathedral. We didn't have to use public transport at all as all main attractions are within easy walking distance Then it was whiskey time at The Old Jameson Distillery and of course we ended our 'tour' that day with a visit to the Guinness Storehouse where we spent most of the afternoon till it got dark.
Entrance fee is 18.00 euros but it's free with the Dublin Pass. I highly recommend buying this pass if you plan on staying for more than one day in Dublin and visiting most of the attractions. It gives you free entrance to the most popular museums and tourist attractions, and helps you make great savings with lots of discounts and special offers on tours, and at restaurants and retail stores.
That evening we had dinner at Quays restaurant, in the heart of Temple Bar, which specialises in mouthwatering, traditional Irish food.
Again I won't bore you with more words but I'll let you enjoy these visual images from our weekend break in Dublin. It all starts from part one and continues to parts two, four and even five! Yes I'm a photo lover! Have you ever been to Dublin? Let me know what you think..
Enjoy!
